The Padmavathi School of Nursing, managed under the Sri Ramya Sri Educational Society, Guntakal, offers a Diploma course in Nursing (3 years and 6 months). The curriculum emphasizes strong fundamentals required for Postgraduate and Doctoral studies in Nursing. Students are expected to demonstrate commitment and motivation toward serving in the Nursing profession.

  • Diploma in General Nursing (GNM)
    3 to 3.5 years including 6-month internship

Admission Procedure

Applications & Prospectus can be obtained from the Principal:

  • ₹300 for B.Sc (Nursing)
  • ₹200 for GNM

Or by post with a D.D. of ₹350 (B.Sc Nursing) / ₹250 (GNM) payable to The Secretary of Correspondent, Sri Padmavathi College of Nursing, Guntakal (Payable at Anantapur).

Selection

  • Applications reviewed by the Selection Committee.
  • Merit list prepared based on qualifying exam marks.
  • Shortlisted candidates must attend interview (own expenses).
  • Selected candidates must present originals & pay fees immediately.

Fees Particulars

  • As per University & State Govt. guidelines.
  • Mess & Hostel charges subject to revision.
  • Monthly fees due before the 10th of every month.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Student Guidelines

  • Uniform & Books: Students must purchase prescribed uniforms & books at their own cost.
  • Attendance: 75% Theory & 100% Practical compulsory for exams.
  • Leave: Vacations as per NTR UHS & DME rules. Special leave only for genuine cases.
  • Examinations: - B.Sc Nursing: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences - GNM: Board of General Nursing Examination, Amaravathi (Annual exam fees & internal assessments as per rules).
